The Guy Hill School, originally known as the Sturgeon Landing Boarding School, was located at Sturgeon Landing, Saskatchewan on the Manitoba-Saskatchewan border. When the school burned down in 1952 students were moved to temporary quarters in The Pas, Manitoba. A new school was opened in 1958 at Clearwater, Manitoba, 25 miles from The Pas. From 1971 to 1979, a Native Skills Program was offered at the school. While the school closed in 1979, during the 1990s a number of Aboriginal health conferences were held at the school.
